Sales Presentation ==== - The Sales Chair presents the Sales Presentation once per year, near the beginning of the year. ==== Section 2. Organization of Events ==== - Sales Chair holds Signups for Sales Events during New Business. - Sales Chair creates a list of the available sales events before General Meeting. - Sales Chair puts the events in the Mu Beta Psi Google Calendar. - After signups, the Sales Chair creates separate Google Calendar invites for each event and adds each Brother participating. - If an event conflicts with General Meeting or there are no Brothers available to work a sales shift, the Sales Chair notifies the event’s point of contact. - As long as there is at least one Brother signed up for a sales event, the event can proceed. - After each Sales Event, the Sales Chair keeps a record of the event. ==== Section 3. End of Year ==== - Contract Renewal - If a recurring Sales Event has a contract, the Brotherhood must vote on renewals or changes to the contract at the end of the contractual period. - If the contract is to be terminated, the Sales Chair shall inform the other party in writing. - If the contract is to be edited, the Sales Chair shall meet with the other party to review and edit the contract. - Money Collection - After all sales events for the year have been completed, the Sales Chair collects the money earned and gives it to the Treasurer to deposit in the bank account. ===== Article II- Brotherhood Expectations ===== ==== Section 1. Attending Sales Events ==== - If a Brother signs up for a Sales Event, they are required to attend. - If circumstances arise where a Brother is unable to attend, they shall notify the Sales Chair of their absence. - At the end of a Sales Event, all Brothers in attendance help to count money. - At least two Brothers should be present to count the money. - If there is only one Brother at a Sales Event, a witness may be required. - Look to the specific event’s instructions to see if a witness is required for counting money. - MITs - There must be at least a 1:1 ratio of Brothers to MITs for all Sales Events. ===== Article III- Resources ===== ==== Section 1. Sales Bag ==== - The Sales Bag is kept in a locker in the SDC, under the name “Mu Beta Phsi”. - The combination to this locker is available to Brothers upon request. - Items in the Sales Bag - Binder with a record of past Sales Events. - Small Mu Beta Psi banner - First Aid Kit - Donation Bag - Any other items deemed necessary by the Sales Chair. ==== Section 2.
